Where do we begin? Reco is the only tracking system backed by a full-time in-house 'recover and secure it' team. It is not reliant upon overstretched police forces finding the time to locate your missing asset. Reco is on the case from the outset.
FACT: Reco Systems NEED NO INSTALLATION and can be hidden anywhere by you.
FACT: Reco is not tied to a particular vehicle or piece of equipment, so you can move it between assets as necessary (or when you sell an item and purchase a new one).
FACT: It needs no line of sight to the sky (as with GPS tracking systems) and can be self-installed almost anywhere!

Reco is NOT GPS based so needs no line of sight to the sky. It is therefore able to be tracked to within a metre whether the item is in a covered location, close to tall buildings, under a metal roof etc. which is where GPS systems fall down. Mobile phone tracking is accurate only to within a kilometre or so (dependant upon the density of cell phone towers). Reco, on the other hand can be traced to within a meter of your asset regardless of these restrictions.

All Reco systems are battery powered (with battery life of up to 4 years), constantly monitored by Reco personnel and can be tracked to within a metre - nationwide. You hide away your Reco System in whatever asset you choose to protect, then forget about it. If your item is stolen you simply call Reco Systems on the emergency number provided. Reco then set the wheels of location in motion and send out the nearest team to secure the asset. Once located, the Reco-very team contact the local police to effect legal securing of the item.

Yes, all Reco Systems products are waterproof. However, should you wish to place it in an outdoor environment, we recommend the REBO which has further enhanced waterproofing properties and is priced just the same.

Whilst we would not recommend putting one on a pneumatic drill, Reco systems have no moving internal parts and will stand reasonable bumping around. (General road/off-road shock etc).

They differ slightly dependent upon which housing is chosen. (Reco products come in various guises to outwit product-aware thieves). Generally speaking they are very slightly larger than a cigarette packet.
